Tai Chi Instruction

Tai Chi is of Chinese origin and means “grand ultimate” in a fusion of yin and yang. As internal arts of the body and mind, Tai Chi is a collection of many forms and practices. Tai Chi seeks to focus and awaken the inner resources of individuals through calming and absorbing exercises. Generally practiced in slow motion while standing and often stepping, Tai Chi offers many potential benefits, including significant health improvement, better balance, stress reduction, moving meditation and—with due diligence and training—effective self defense.
